I used to wear silver jewellery religiously throughout my teens. It was always 925 sterling where possible because any other metals or costume jewellery brought me out in green marks on the skin after a while whether it was from wearing a bracelet, rings or earrings. Not the best of looks…
I ‘upgraded’ to white gold when I got married a few years ago as both my engagement ring and wedding band were 18ct white gold. I loved the fact that they matched perfectly with my silver earrings, watch, bracelet and other rings.
And I guess since then I’ve always worn white gold or silver because I firstly haven’t wanted to mix metals, and secondly due to the fact that I’ve just generally preferred silver to yellow gold. Until recently…
My newest and absolute favourite item of jewellery is a charm bracelet by a company called ChloBo, and it’s just the sweetest thing ever.
It is a slip-on stretchy-band bracelet which means no fiddly clasps, yet it’s taut enough to feel secure on the wrist without worrying it will fall off.
The bracelet is made up of teeny tiny little balls and has a gorgeous elephant charm hanging from the bracelet. The metal is 925 sterling silver which is good to know for any sensitive-skinned girls such as myself, and is plated in rose gold.
I’ve been wearing this literally every day since I got it a little over a week ago, and I love it so much. It’s very dainty, but feels reassuringly sturdy at the same time thanks to the fact I guess, that the bracelet is actually made from sterling silver as opposed to just plastic, ceramic or a cheaper metal.
It’s part of a collection from ChloBo called Cute Charm, and as the title suggests, the range has a wide variety of charms to suit everybody. (My little elephant is worn as a symbol of peace and good luck).
They are also available to buy in gold and silver so are well worth checking out if you fancy trying something different. I’ve already got my eye on a bracelet which is very similar to my elephant one, but which has a little star on. (Yes I still very much have a thing for stars).
I bought a rose-gold plated watch from Accessorize the week after the bracelet arrived and I’m so glad that I did as they compliment each other so well. I do tend to wear the bracelet on the other hand, but it’s nice to have the option to wear it alongside the watch too.
One other thing I’ll say about the bracelet, and package to be more specific, is the gorgeous little box which comes with the item. It’s so cute! I love the little drawer and am still currently trying to find a proper use for it as opposed to just a ‘jewellery’ box.
The entire range is beautiful, and I’m looking forward to getting my next one already! Prices start at £65.00 and are available to buy from ChloBo here.
Let me know your thoughts on this range and anything which catches your eye; I really love hearing from you all whether it’s on here, Instagram or Twitter.
I’ll be back soon with an exciting post about something I got up to at the weekend. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!
ChloBo kindly gifted this bracelet to me to review. All opinions and feedback are my own and I have provided an honest account of this item.
