Happy Bank Holiday Weekend y’all! Hoping you’re all having a lovely one whatever you’re getting up to?! I had a pretty epic day yesterday meeting one of my favourite You Tubers, Brogan Tate.
Brogan has been vlogging for around five years now, and her main content involves a weekly upload in which she vlogs about whatever she’s got up to in those past seven days. She’s a local girl from Bournemouth which is great as there aren’t many other bloggers/vloggers around this way that I know about.
Brogan Tate Meet Up
To celebrate the fact that she has reached her 100th vlog, Brogan decided to host a meet up down on the beach for any bloggers/subscribers to her channel to come down and just chill on the beach, hang out with other like-minded people and of course meet Brogan herself.
Not going to lie, I was pretty nervous about this…a big part of that was because I was (initially) going to be heading down there on my own. However I actually got a tweet in the morning from a lovely girl called Charliy who asked if I wanted to meet up beforehand and go to the beach together which was really nice.
Soon as we got to the seafront I could see a big crowd by the pier and recognised Brogan straight away. She shot up and gave us both a big hug before her Mum came over to say hello too. (Brogan’s Mum by the way, is super sweet and even complimented me on my outfit bless her!)
A few of Brogan’s close friends were there and it was just a really lovely afternoon spent hanging out and getting to know each other. I finally found a few more local bloggers (hello Chloe from fashionandallthat and Charliy Fairman in particular!), and it was amazing getting to have a chat with Brogan and have a few pictures taken with her.
I love her vlogs because they’re so enjoyable to watch and her personality just shines through. She comes across as such a fun and positive person and it was so lovely to see that she’s totally the same in real life as she is on-screen. I just wish I could have had more time to chat about vlogging with her as I have so many questions about it all, but there wasn’t time as I had to leave earlier than planned and Brogan was of course super busy ensuring she spoke to everyone that was there.
It was such a lovely afternoon and I’m so glad I made it down there to meet Brogan. Am also chuffed that I met some more local bloggers and I’m going to try and organise a little bloggers’ brunch event quite soon so keep your eyes peeled for any updates over on my social media.
I had the best time meeting Brogan and am so pleased for her achieving such a milestone of 100 vlogs. Check out her channel here where you’ll get to see footage of the meet up in her next weekly vlog – am so excited to see it!
Hope you enjoyed reading this – was a little different from my usual content but like I’ve said before, I love writing chatty posts quite often more than reviews a lot of the time. (Saying that though, I’ll be back with a new review post quite soon).
Wishing you all a very happy Bank Holiday Monday whatever you get up to tomorrow!
