October Favourites Featuring Zoella Beauty

October Favourites Featuring Zoella Beauty

How is it the end of October already?! I’m typing this up while watching the Halloween episode of Strictly wondering exactly where the last month has gone. There’s been several products that I’ve enjoyed using over the last few weeks and which I thought I’d share with you. From the new range by Zoella Beauty to a lovely hair mist from Percy and Reed, there’s a really good mix of products which I hope you’ll enjoy reading about!

Zoella Beauty – Snowella

I’m always excited to see what Zoe will come up with next for her Zoella Beauty range. I was a little late to the party with the earlier launches and I think it wasn’t until the Gingerbread-focussed Christmas range last year that I properly started paying attention to her beauty products.

The theme of this year’s range is based around ‘Snow’ella’, which is:

Snow’ella captures the beauty of snowfall with a flurry of stunning notes, including softening Peony, refreshing Mint and Pink Pepper. Let this festive fragrance take you to your very own Winter Wonderland, where all is calm and all is bright.

From the fragrance itself to the hand cream and body lotion, the scent is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The lotion is a lovely consistency which sinks quickly into the skin leaving it moisturised and non-greasy, and while I’m obsessed with the perfume, my only complaint is that it doesn’t last very long on the skin at all.

I bought the fragrance and body lotion set from Superdrug for £12.00 which I think was such a good bargain, as I literally haven’t stopped spritzing the perfume and applying the body lotion ever since I bought it.

Percy and Reed ‘A Walk in the Rain’ Shine and Fragrance Mist

Keeping with the fragrance theme, the next product I’ve been loving throughout October was very kindly gifted to me to review by the Percy and Reed PR team. It is their brand-new ‘A Walk in the Rain’ shine and fragrance mist and it smells super lovely.

I have a feeling that this 75ml can is going to go a long way, as you really only need the tiniest amount on your hair to make it looking shiny and sleek whilst smelling so pretty and fresh (think the scent of flowers after it’s rained). It lingers nicely on the hair and the shine it leaves lasts a good amount of time too. Really loving this, it’s like a glossy perfume for your locks.

My other two favourite from the month are sample sizes that I’ve been trying out and enjoying. The first product was sent to me by Glamour Beauty Club to review and it’s Caudalie’s Vinosource SOS Thirst Quenching Serum. Now I’m prone to oily skin which is also very dehydrated (one of the worst combos I’m sure).

I know that I could do more to help on the dehydration side of things by upping my water intake which is currently pretty abysmal, but this serum seems to give an instant hit of hydration. It feels really lovely on the skin, super nourishing and it sinks in so quickly.

The second product is one that came in my most recent Love Me Beauty subscription, and it is Nuxe’s Hand and Nail Cream.

I can never get enough hand creams, because unlike my face which suffers from oiliness, my hands are constantly very dry and in need of moisture, especially in the winter.

This is  a very nice hand cream and does exactly what it says on the tube; repairs, nourishes and protects. It’s lightly scented which I like, and it’s a dinky little size for popping into your handbag which is perfect when I need to top up the cream throughout the day.

So that’s it for my October favourites! I think if I had to pick my ultimate fave it would have to be the new Zoella Beauty range as I’m slightly obsessed with the scent, but all the products have been lovely and I’m glad to have discovered them.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and I’ll be back again soon! In the meantime and for something a little different (spoiler, it’s to do with fashion and footwear…), check out my post on the Classic Ankle Boot.
