A couple of weeks ago I was very kindly sent the new fragrance by Accessorize, and I thought it was time to share my thoughts about it on here. I’m always keen to try out new fragrances, and with Spring finally here it’s nice to switch things up with a lighter scent. So here’s my Happy Daisy review for you!
HAPPY DAISY REVIEW
First off the packaging of this perfume is so beautiful. The coral box is adorned with pretty flowers and the bottle itself is like a little work of art with a cute flower inside the stopper, and cut glass.
As stated on The Perfume Shop’s website:
Refresh your signature scent for the new season with our Happy Daisy eau de parfum. A spritz of this gorgeous floral perfume will have you feeling ultra-pretty, and its faceted flower-topped bottle will look amazing on your dressing table.
This is a really pretty, soft fragrance with a mixture of fruity and floral notes. Speaking of which there’s quite a lot of them in here. Happy Daisy opens with light notes of raspberry and orange, followed by its heart notes of pepper, jasmine, cyclamen and violet, and finished with a base of sandalwood, caramel vanilla, musk and orris.
I generally lean towards more heavier, muskier fragrances that are best worn in the evening, but this is perfect for day and night wear. The only thing I’m a little disappointed with is that it’s not particularly long-lasting for an eau de parfum, but when you think this only costs £19.00 for 75ml, it’s an absolute bargain.
The first time I spritzed this it lasted at least a good couple of hours, but the more I’ve worn it the more it seems to linger less which is a shame, but not the end of the world.
All in all it’s a very pretty fragrance, and in one of the most beautiful bottles I’ve seen in a long time. Would definitely recommend giving this a try if you’re looking for a new affordable summer scent.
